Kirk Sanford is a pioneer and leader in financial and payment
services to the casino industry and prior to the announcement of
retirement in 2007, he was a founder, Chief Executive Officer,
President, and Director of Global Cash Access Inc. (NYSE: GCA), a
leading provider of cash access products and other related services
to the world-wide gaming market. Sanford’s entrepreneurial
leadership took GCA from a start-up company to a NYSE public company
with more than $1.5Billion market capitalization, $650Million in
annualized revenues, and 400 employees around the world.
Sanford has also been involved with a number of other successful
business and transactions which include his role as Chief Executive
Officer, President and Owner of Central Credit, the leading provider
of gaming patron credit information services to casinos throughout
the world and completed various M&A, leverage recapitalizations,
high yield financings, private equity, and initial public offerings.
Currently, Sanford is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
Sightline Acquisition Corp, a privately held investment fund that
specializes in acquiring distressed property and other assets.
Sanford was featured by Business Week as one of the Top 100 CEO’s
Under 40. He is is married with 3 children and lives in Las Vegas.
